X Does not necessarily indicate certified compatibility. Instead it indicates that you can use this version of Reference Manager with the specified version of Word. In some cases (see note 3), it may be necessary to manually install the Reference Manager tools into the word processor.

Absence of a star in the table above indicates that this version of Reference Manager is not compatible with the specified word processor.

While this version of Reference Manager was not originally designed to work with Word 2000, XP or 2003, you should be able to use the programs together if you manually install the CWYW tools.

Word 2010 Compatibility
Reference Manager V12.0.3 is compatible with Word 2010. If you have Reference Manager V12 you may download a Free Update. To upgrade from an earlier version of Reference Manager, go to our Order Page and either purchase an online upgrade or buy the boxed product with CD and Getting Started Guide.
Please note: Reference Manager V12.0.3 requires Microsoft Word 2010 32 bit version. It will not work with Microsoft Word 2010 64 bit version.
